Why Chair Yoga?

  • Keep the body moving even if you have trouble getting down to the floor, walk with a cane, or use a wheelchair
  • Reduce back pain, lubricate the joints, and develop strength
  • Improve balance -- the chair is there to support you for standing poses
  • Calm the nervous system and the mind using breath, meditation, and physical movement
  • Improve sleep due to releasing tension and gently exerting physical effort

Senior Residential Facilities / Assisted Living

I am vaccinated, boosted, and available to guide chair yoga or other fitness classes in-person or remotely over video conference for your senior residential facility.  Seniors benefit from the gentle movement and guided breath which lead to physical and mental relaxation.  My chair yoga clients report less pain, better sleep, and increased peace of mind.  Contact me here.
