Yin Yoga:  long, slow, passive stretches

In yin yoga, we hold passive stretches for several minutes at a time.  At the same time, we relax the muscles.  This allows us to bring spaciousness to the fascia network that runs throughout the body and surrounds all the muscles, thus opening up our range of motion.
